explain your name

when I'm not on wow I am usually ordering a pizza or sleeping.
On rare occasions the interenet die so I go into the garden and dance around much in the same way native americans raindance except usually here it is raining and I am dancing because there is shit else to do.

And that is me, in a nutshell.

I just realised I never actually said what the thread was supposed to be about...

Basicly I wondered how you came up with your name. Like is there some awesome story behind it or did you just steal it from some anime or something...

I made the Ste into Eri and the en into ien. You are probably reading this thinking 'wow dude sort your life out' haha...

I came up with my character's name years ago, while playing pen and paper roleplaying games. I was playing a mage (of course), and to be more precise, a fire mage. So i started checking online dictionaries for the word "fire", and found a persian one which was "azer".
I liked it, but there was one thing. In my language it sounds like a resident of Azerbajian, so i decided to change it a bit and added ON at the end. And there it was - Azeron. When i started playing WoW i knew i'm going to play a fire mage, and i remembered that old character, so the decision was quite simple.

thats kinda like what I did for my druid. Like get a noun and add some extra bit to make it a name. Though for my druid I got Elven word from some dictionary on the world wide webness.

.....nice to be back.... anyways.....

the first day WoW was released, a good friend of mine bought it. and i saw the dwarf hunter on the cover and said, "Dracumel, what is that?" and he said "a dwarf hunter"....

from that moment all i wanted to do is make a dwarf hunter and name him.... ehmmmm... Olaf. yeah, Olaf is a cool name for a dwarf. it is norwegian. so are dwarves. .... Olaf .... Fjelltopp. Yeah (fjell=mountain) (topp=well.... top!) and now that i am thinkin' of it it is weird because i was 24yo and i shouldn't do like that for just a short hunter. but i did. and i still do when i logon
